MBD for ANSYS can be very beneficial for analyzing of the design of an excavator. The forces acting on the components of excavator can be accurately predicted in ANSYS Workbench.

Using MBD for ANSYS, the dynamics of the entire system can be simulated. The complex nonlinear interactions caused by contact and joints between the components of the excavator can be captured in the forces acting on any component of the excavator. Then MBD for ANSYS can directly transfer the loads acting on any component into a structural analysis model in ANSYS Mechanical.
