Multibody simulation of suspension using MBD for ANSYS - motion analysis tool

Suspension simulation in ANSYS Mechanical using MBD for ANSYS.

RecurDyn and  MBD for ANSYS can be very beneficial for analyzing of the design of an suspension system. The forces acting on the components of the suspension can be accurately predicted in a simulation of the Multibody dynamics of the suspension system in ANSYS Mechanical.

Using MBD for ANSYS, the dynamics of the entire system can be simulated in ANSYS Mechanical. The complex nonlinear interactions caused by contact and joints between the connecting arms, bearing surfaces, springs, shock absorbers, axles, and various other parts of the suspension system can be captured in the forces acting on any component of the suspension.

Then MBD for ANSYS can directly transfer the loads acting on any component into a structural analysis model in ANSYS Mechanical.
