RecurDyn/Engine provides the system builder to construct the basic components of engine. The system builder creates the engine system with the special parametric method such as Special Parametric Markers (SPM) and Special Parametric Values (SPV).

•Pre-Global Data: In the pre-global data, basic values are defined such as Master Axis Type, Slave Axis Type and Number of Crank Train.
•Global Data: In the global data, the values of components and connecting elements are defined.
•Special Parametric Marker: Controls position and orientation of between bodies.
•Special Parametric Value: Controls geometric relationship between bodies.
