The process of performing a co-simulation for embedded particle solvers follows.
1. Creates a RecurDyn model.
2. Creates material properties for the particle set and the wall.
3. Creates particle sets using geometry.
4. Creates walls from geometry.
5. Sets the properties in the particle sets and the walls.
6. Runs the co-simulation.
• The particles simulation data is created in output folder. If the user simulates two or more RecurDyn model in same location without Create Output Folder option, the particles simulation data is overwritten in same output folder. To use Create Output Folder option, click here.
7. Uses Post-Process.
• After the simulation is finished, the simulation results can be viewed in RecurDyn’s GUI and RecurDyn can be used for post processing of both the rigid and flexible body model as well as certain aspects of the particle model. The particle solver should be able to perform its normal post processing of the particle model.
