Output Page

This page selects belts to output calculated values. The contact force of a belt segment and a belt tension can be outputted in Plot. The Belt output is summation value of multi-contact force between a pulley or roller and a belt. Belt Assembly, 2DBelt Assembly, Beam Belt, and Shell Belt supported in RecurDyn/Belt are using this page.

Output: The outputs of selected belt bodies are shown in Scope and Plot.

No: Shows the index of belt bodies.

Check Option: If this option is checked, outputs are plotted.

Name: Defines the name of belt bodies belongs to the belt group.

SC: Determines Scope of each belt body.

Figure 2  Scope Entity dialog box

Name: Defines the name of the Scope

Entity Name: Defines the name of specified belt body.

Component: Selects the component of results of the specified belt body. The contact and elastic forces in the belt body reference frame are included.

Data RefFrame: It shows what entity is used for reference frame of selected data component. Most data component use the Ground.InertiaMarker for reference frame, but data component of connector use other entities because it’s easier to analysis the data.

Orientation: Defines the reference frame. The component is projected in the specified reference frame.

Display: If the user checks this option, the window of Scope is shown.

Selection by Simple Rule: Allows the user to open the Selection dialog box to support a simple rule selecting many belt bodies at the same time. For more information, click here.

All/Nothing: The check boxes of all belt bodies in the list are activated or deactivated.

Add + Navigation: If the user selects the "Add" option and clicks the navigation button, the user can select nodes from the screen and an output is applied on the belt bodies.

Remove + Navigation: If the user selects the Remove option and clicks the navigation button, the user can select nodes from the screen and an output is not applied on the belt bodies.

Add or Remove + Navigation: If the user selects the Add or Remove option and clicks the navigation button, the user can select nodes from the screen and a boundary condition is applied or not on the belt bodies.

Orientation Reference Frame: If the user selects Node option, then the orientation reference frame of the Boundary Condition is set with each node. If the user selects Inertia Marker, then the orientation reference frame of the Boundary Condition is set with Ground.Inertia Marker of the current system. Default is Node.

Note

In the case of 2D Assembly, only the segment information about the position, velocity, and acceleration is reported except the contact force.
