RecurDyn/RFlexGen supports three types of RFI generation methods which is determined by where the FE-mesh data come from. So, it is possible for users to generate a RFI file from a FFlex body, a RFlex body and the Text file (*.dat or *.bdf) by using new functions.
The RFlexGen icon is located in the Flex Interface that is between FFlex and RFlex on the Flexible tap as shown in the Figure 1 below. And, if this icon is pushed, the dialog will appear as shown in the Figure 2.

•Eigen Solver: Performs an eigenvalue analysis by using the select solver.
•Sunshine
•Dynamis
•Input Data: Selects the FE-data type and Interface nodes. 3 types of Mesh Data can be used as Select Flexible Body, Nastran Bulk File, and Dynamic Input File.
•Case Control Settings: Possible to define the normal modes of a RFI file and the units that should be used about FE-Data when generating a RFI file. For more information, click here.
•Output RFI File
•RFI File Name: Defines an output RFI file name and the path where a RFI file generates.
•Export Input File: Exports a Dynamic Input File without performing an eigenvalue analysis.
