The FCurve To Surface Contact generates a contact force between a FFlex body and a rigid body.
• The FFlex body is the action body of the contact
• The rigid body is the base body.
• The patch set of the action contact surface must be defined before creating the contact.
• The patch set should be generated on the FFlex body.
• Two contact surfaces should be two different patch sets.
• The contact force is generated with the compliance characteristics allowing to the penetration.
The base contact surfaces are approximated as multi triangular patches as shown in Figure 1. The action contact surfaces are approximated as multi cylinder and sphere in the line and the node of beam element as shown in Figure 1.

Contact points
• The lines of action cylinders are examined whether they are contacted with the lines of the base patches.
• And then, the action spheres are examined whether they are contacted with the base patches.
• Finally, the nodes of the base patches are examined whether they are contacted with the action cylinders.
