Extract

The user can extract the simulation results at any time as a new model file. For example, if the user wants to extract the configuration of 2sec with total simulation motion time of 5 sec, the user can save the simulation results as a new model file.

When the user extracts the model, the current time is saved as the Time Offset. So, the simulation about the extracted model will be start from the value of Time Offset. To see more information, please refers to Time Offset.

Step to extract the simulation results

1.  Run Dynamic Analysis.

2.  Confirm the simulation results.

3.  Pause the animation as desired.

4.  Execute Extract function.

5.  Save the model.

6.  Open the saved model again.

7.  Modify the model.

8.  Run Dynamic Analysis.

Note

The extracted model has only the position and orientation information of extracted bodies. Therefore, there is no information about the acceleration, the velocity, and the related force of the extracted bodies in this model.

Extract FFlex body Without Prestress

User can select some FFlex bodies to extract without prestress when extracted model includes FFlex body. User can check FFlex body list like below.
