During a simulation using RecurDyn Standalone Solver, the simulation state can be controlled by some special files.
•Stop: If there is a “recurdyn.stop” file in a directory where the rmd file is saved, the simulation is stopped.
•Pause: If there is a “recurdyn.pause” file in a directory where the rmd file is saved, the simulation is paused.
•Resume: If there is a “recurdyn.resume” file in a directory where the rmd file is saved, the simulation is resumed.
Note
If the “recurdyn.pause” file is with “recurdyn.resume” file in the same directory, the “recurdyn.pause” file does not work because the priority of “recurdyn.resume”file is higher than the “recurdyn.pause” file.
