RFlex Modal Preload

Modal Preload is a load of the constant type. The load is constantly applied to a target RFlex body with the simulation time growing.

•     RFlex Body Name: Displays a name of the selected RFlex body for Modal Preload.

•     Modal Loads List: Displays modal load cases defined in the selected RFlex body.

•     Check box: Choose one or more modal load cases.

•     Name: Displays a name of selected modal load case. The name cannot be modified. If the user wants to change name, use the RFlex Modal Load Case function.

•     All: Checks all modal load cases in Modal Loads List

•     Nothing: Unchecks all modal load cases in Modal Loads List

•     Edit Modal Load: The user can check and modify the detail data of selected modal load case in Modal Loads List. The load type cannot be modified. If the user wants to change, use the RFlex Modal Load Case function.

Step to create the Modal Preload

1.  Click the Modal Preload icon.

2.  Select a RFlex body and then the Modal Preload dialog box appears as following figure.

3.  Select one or more Modal Load Cases of selected RFlex body.

4.  Set the scale factors of selected Modal Load Cases.
