RecurDyn/Particleworks

 

RecurDyn Linux solver supports the Particleworks co-simulation. To simulate with a particleworks model, some folders and files are required.

     Input files(folders)

    df (folder): *.df

    pre (folder): *.csv

    result (folder)

    *.rmd (file)

    *.rss (file)

    *.obj (file)

     Output files

    RD output (*.rplt, *.ran, ...)

    PW output (particle folder, result folder)

 

These files can be created using the RecurDyn Particleworks Group and the Particleworks on a Windows system. To create these folders and files, click here.

 

To invoke the RecurDyn Linux Solver with Particleworks

1.  Make a RecurDyn model that include vessels and motion on RecurDyn windows version.

2.  Make a Particleworks model that include the definition of particles and have to execute the pre-processing on the window system (click here).

3.  Transfer the needed folders and files to the linux system.

4.  When the simulation is over, the analysis result is shown from the output files.
