     RigidE Type

Effective Youngs Modulus: Defines the effective Young’s modulus. Rigid Element of RecurDyn is based on the specially designed force element. The value plays a key role in fixing the master node and other slave nodes.

Damping Ratio: Defines the damping ratio.

Use Minimum Beam Length: Rigid Element of RecurDyn is based on the specially designed force element. If this option is checked, the minimum beam length (= Averaging all beam length * 0.1) calculated internally is used for the force element. The lengths of elements which is shorter than the minimum beam length are replaced by the minimum beam length. This is for avoiding excessive stiffness force of Rigid Element because the very small length of FDR element in force type cause excessive stiffness force. This value is only valid for force type of Rigid Element.

Use Force Connector: If Sync. FDR option in the Properties of FFlex body dialog box is checked, the user cannot use this option. For more information, refer to Connecting Parameters.
