Coordinate System

 

Figure 1 shows the markers defined for a body. A RecurDyn model must have one inertial reference frame, which is attached to the ground and automatically created by default. The user cannot delete the inertial frame.

A body has one body reference frame and one reference frame for the center of mass (Center Marker). All markers must be defined with respect to the body reference frame. The origin specifies the origin of a marker in the Marker property page. The user can specify the orientation of a marker by 313/321 Euler Angle or Coordinate defined with points along the axes.
