Analysis Responses are a candidate set of performance indexes. In AutoDesign, the design objectives and the functional constraints are defined by the selected performance indexes.
The analysis responses can be a function of analysis results of RecurDyn, which can be done by using ‘Expression’ in RecurDyn. Then, those time dependant responses are transformed as a scalar value by using the treatments such as ‘End Value’, ‘Average Value’, ‘RMS’, ‘Max Value’, ‘Min Value’, ‘Absolute Max Value’ and ‘Absolute Min Value’ etc. Figure 1 shows the role of analysis responses in AutoDesign.
